FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT AT HANK & HAZEL'S
Get out of the house with your quarantine pod and watch the inspiring new film, "Kiss the Ground" at Hank & Hazel's Really Good Sausages in Downtown Vacaville. Vacaville is hurting. We've been through a lot. Let's do something that fills us up with inspiration and good family fun all the while raising money for a Vacaville farmer in need.
Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis.
The Ag & Art Film Festival is hosting screenings to raise money to help the farmers in Vacaville affected by the LNU Lightening Complex Fire. Each "Family Movie Night" screening will raise money for a different Vacaville farm in need.
The money raised from this screening is being donated to "Clay's Bees" in Vacaville. (Scroll down for more info about this farm.)
Special thank you to Eatwell Farm in Dixon for sponsoring our screenings and to Hank & Hazels for donating the picnic area for our screening!
Clay's Bees (a.k.a. Pleasants Valley Honey Company) lost 73 of his 81 bee hives in the LNU Lightening Complex Fire on August 18th. We are raising money for Clay to build his bee boxes and get new hives out in the county again. Clay sells his honey at the Vacaville Farmer's Market.
