Synopsis: In "Isabelle my love" we are on the border between the old and the new world. The viewer discovers a charming little village in the south of France where two young French / Danish, Christian and Isabelle, meet without having wanted it and for the first time on the occasion of the death of an old lady. Despite all their differences, Christian and Isabelle have to spend some time under the same roof. Everyone left the busy life of the Danish capital to attend the burial in the village pushed by his own reasons. The large town house brings up feelings and repressed memories, happy as well as unhappy, which will at first give rise to a conflict between the two and end up attracting one towards the other irresistibly.
