Visiting Vacaville

If you are flying into town, you have two choices: fly into Sacramento International Airport (SMF) or fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Both are about the same distance to Vacaville. Sacramento's airport is more low-key than SF and you'll avoid getting caught in the traffic after work coming over the bridge. The drive from Sac Airport is scenic! It'll get you in the right frame of mind for the Ag & Art Film Festival!  When I fly into town from Los Angeles, I fly into either airport, it just depends on what I'm doing.  But mostly, lately, I fly into Sacramento. It's just easier.

Vacaville hotels and motels are some of the most reasonably priced around. In fact, they can be up to 50% less expensive than lodging in nearby Napa or Sonoma. Vacaville features your favorite hotel brands and chains.

Another option for lodging is renting a room, apartment or house through AirBnB. 

Since all of the screenings will take place downtown, getting from your hotel to the screenings and events will be a breeze. You can use UBER or LYFT or a taxi. There is public transportation too. Or, you can rent a car.
