"The Holstein Dilemma"
What the heck is a heritage breed anyway and why should we all care? What started out as a simple question at a livestock fair, inspired filmmakers Rick and Elara Bowman to search for answers across North America, from those who actually do the work and the experts that back it up with science. With interviews from agriculturalists, scientists, and personalities to find out more about Heritage Breed livestock, this film explores why diversity is important in today’s agricultural model that’s based on large volume, fast growth, and the cheapest product possible for the consumer.

"Farm to Families"
One in four families with children in the United States is struggling to put food on the table. COVID-19 increased this number. Restaurants and other markets for food closed, initially hurting farmers. Farm to Families tells the story of the creative collaboration between Rogue Valley Farm 2 School, Fry Family Farm, local schools, and community volunteers – joining forces to feed families in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley.
"Guardians of Grasslands"
Canada’s native grasslands are disappearing at an alarming rate – in fact, they are one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world. Guardians of the Grasslands is a collaboration between dedicated conservationists and local ranchers, which seeks to showcase how cattle continue to create hope on what’s left of these iconic landscapes for the plant and animal species that call them home.
"Power for Pollinators"
“Power for Pollinators” explores how large land managers have a unique opportunity to turn tens of millions of acres into healthy pollinator habitat. In particular, power companies with right-of-way corridors and buffer zones are uniquely positioned to create large pollinator highways. These untapped areas have the potential to become one of the largest pollinator projects in history. If power companies and other land managers choose to work together planting flowers and reducing chemical use across the landscape, we can bring back pollinators and – with them – a host of essential food and ecosystem resources. As electricity flows through the landscape, power companies can help pollinators flower through the ecosystem.
"The Hunt for the Giant Asian Hornet"
Scientists race to stop the spread of a new invasive species – but first they have to find it. Dubbed the “Murder Hornet” by popular media, the most real threat of the Asian Giant Hornet may be to the environment and food supply – and its presence may indicate an even deeper problem facing our modern world. From government scientists to community volunteers, a coordinated effort combines with leading edge technologies to bring balance to our ecosystem before it’s too late.
"Pride: The Lions of Soysambu"
Imagine waking up one morning to find lions in your backyard; that is the challenge facing the people of Soysambu, a wildlife conservancy and working cattle ranch in Kenya’s central rift valley. The story of Soysambu Conservancy is an example of the changing landscape of East Africa. It is the story of how concerned individuals the world over came together to find practical solutions to growing conflicts between Africa’s most iconic predators and the people who call these wild places home. “Pride: The Lions of Soysambu” is an in-depth look at grass-roots conservation in action, of the power of nature to inspire art, the power of art to inspire change, and a people’s pride in their land, their livelihood, and their wildlife.

"Against the Wind"
In a year marked by tragedy, the farmers of Iowa face down one of the most destructive storms in US History. This is a story of loss but also perseverance and the indomitable human spirit.
"Grass Farmers"
Did you know that it’s possible for cattle production to be green? Like, green, green? As in, carbon sink green? It’s a pretty simple concept called regenerative agriculture that involves making soil health a top priority. Because healthier soils means healthier grass, healthier cattle and ultimately a much healthier earth.
"I'm Just a Layman in Pursuit of Justice"
I’m Just a Layman in Pursuit of Justice” chronicles the injustices of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, also knowns as “the last plantation”, and the liven experiences of Black farmers who chose to fight against discrimination.

It’s time to put the spotlight on the long hidden face of agriculture. Meet the incredible women who produce half of all you eat. Visible Farmer discover the untold stories of the gutsy women behind our food and fiber, and the vital, innovative role they play. From remote outback stations to urban market gardens, it’s a journey that will change our perception of who a farmer is. Each episode of this 15-part web-series is an inspiring story with passion and substance as diverse as the industry the women are working in and the challenges they face.
"The Homestead"
The Homestead follows Donovan and Lisa Kitt as they try to establish a new organic farm. They both grew up on Organic farms and are hoping to prove that a new farm project is still possible in the world of high land prices in northern Alberta, Canada. The film follows Donovan and Lisa through several seasons as they begin a family and face the challenge of making their dreams reality.
"A Fallow Year"
The Farm School, a teaching farm in western Massachusetts, created around a concept of connecting people to land with kindness and integrity, asks deep and hard questions about race and justice that do not have easy answers. They took a year-long pause to seek their own blind spots and open their arms a little wider to work that is never finished.
"The Soul of a Farmer"
The Soul of a Farmer captures the struggle of every small-scale organic farmer committed to growing beautiful produce. The 35 minute film bursts the romantic notion of farm-to-table, portraying the constant tension between Patty Gentry’s mission to grow the organic vegetables chefs treasure and eke out a living, too.
