Cowboys work in the shadow of the historic Hearst Castle. One of the largest Black landowners in the state discovers Native American artifacts on his ranch. You Just Can’t See Them From the Road is a documentary portrait of modern West Coast ranchers—invisible to and misunderstood by the rapidly modernizing society they sustain.

Our 2023 Awards Dinner takes place on Sunday, 9/17 at 5pm at Backdoor Bistro & Wine Bar located in Town Square in Downtown Vacaville (across the street from the theatre!) Chef Lindsey prepares an appetizer, main course, and dessert for us. Gilpin Wine will be pouring wine (included with your ticket purchase). And Yellow Dot Music will be our musician for the night. He plays acoustic guitar and Brazilian music.
